VACANCY
Within the framework of the Programme we offer
a Post Doctoral position for a period of two-three
years.
The subject areas covered by the research will
be:

Structural
and morphological characterization of SiGe(
C )/Si by using SIMS, RBS-rBS, HRXRD and AFM.
Optical spectroscopies are also available. |

Analysis
and modelization of dopant profiles into the
layers. |
The
INFM-Padova Unit is located in several Institutes
of the Engineering and Science Faculties of the
University of Padova. About 20 researchers, 30
PhD students and Post Doc work on semiconductor
and insulator physics. We have very good analytical
equipments and strong connections with Italian
and foreign research institutions either public
or private. Most of the research activity of the
Semiconductor Group is performed at the Physics
Department of the University in which more than
150 researchers and 200 technicians work on subjects
ranging from High Energy to Environmental Physics.
A great attention is paid to the formation of
undergraduate and graduate students.
The applicant should have a PhD degree in Physics
or in Material Science and come from one of EU
countries (not Italy) or from Bulgaria, Republic
of Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia,
Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia,
Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway or Israel. Residence
in the EU for the past five years may also provide
eligibility.
